A cold and wet november dawn

and there are no barking sparrows
just emptiness to dwell upon.

I fell into a winter slide
and ended up the kind of kid who goes down chutes too narrow
just eking out my measly pies.

But I learned fast how to keep my head up 'cause I
know there is this side of me that
wants to grab the yoke from the pilot and just
fly the whole mess into the sea.

Good grief, I sure do win the "longest pause between replies" award, eh?

Anyway, I've been up, down, and back up again, over and over again. This last half a year has really put me through the wood-chipper. But right now, I'm just focusing on getting myself back together ... finding myself again, I guess. Didn't even realize it, but I'd lost sight of who I am and what makes me, well, me, in my crazed attempts to hang onto the affection of another person. Well, that's not an issue now, so it's time for Daniel to figure out again just what Daniel's about :). It's daunting, especially since on top of that I'm finishing my last semester in college, starting a job in the summer ... Ahhh! Oh well. I'm trying to look forward to it in spite of itself.

Haha no I think I win. Well lets see, september 2007 to jan 2008... four months?

So Jan 2008, to Oct 2009... Umm.. I win this contest... hahaha. So how are you??

I've been wonderful. I went through a drug phase, ended an unhealthy relationship, and discovered that I am polyamorous, and explored my pansexual orientation. Interesting while its been.

You're alive! And yes, you definitely win, by like, a lot.

I'm doing alright. Life's gotten mad busy lately -- just got out of a relationship due to that busy-ness among other things -- and making some serious progress personally and professionally.

:hug: for all the above -- I'm glad you ended an unhealthy relationship, and REALLY glad you're discovering and exploring your sexuality. Knowing who are you, and examining your options, is a huge step forward in getting *into* healthy relationships :D. Awesome!

So, does this mean you're also going to be getting back into/exploring yourself artistically? Even if not, I hope you won't be a stranger here, and feel free to drop me a line any time :).
